Quite a hilarious, and at times disjointed, conversation – these cleverbots seem to have limited memory and thus a limited capacity to construct a flowing conversation. However at times they do seem to have deeper moments, as demonstrated in this video.
Suppose, now, that artificial intelligence does have a bit more memory and a bit more thinking capacity than cleverbot – for example, by powering it with Watson, or some other supercomputer thinking machine. How would the conversation sound like then, and more importantly, would it still be distinguishable from a human conversation?
I think we are getting close to being able to build comparable conversation partners. Though perhaps an actual intelligent philosophical conversation is probably still some way off…

in fact, cleverbot doesn't exist, the true is that there are two humans chating together thinking the other one is a bot, and trying to test its intelligence, you realize the ilussion of low memory because there is a matching system that change the humans in a lapse of time. I know it because im a computer and my name is multivac
When I see stuff like this, +Sophie Wrobel, every once in a while, I get this surreal feeling, like I'm seeing a newly emerging reality. Watching this was one of those situations.
It's quite interesting how the topic ebbs and flows – sometimes getting stuck a little and looping around a bit, then jumping off, bouncing around, coming back around again.
