Moving towards an ecosystem

Interesting look not just at the relevancy of big data in today's market, but also in the shift in the value of underlying technology.

Note how there is only low commitment to actual technological stacks, but high commitment to interfaces between systems. That's the plain truth of the world we're in now and it's going to become more and more so: commitment is in maintaining a stable interface for other systems to interact with so that  a business ecosystem can survive, and the actual technology stack is becoming less important. We're moving from classical data architecture to enterprise data architecture.
