Use insects to fight insect-bourne diseases

This is what those big monster pharma companies should be doing. We know about the positive effects adenoviruses have on treating certain diseases, and we know how quickly GMOs spread into wild population – and how pharma agendas can push natural species as a result to the brink of extinction. So why not combine such biological and policy tactics to do something good, like eradicating malaria, yellow fever, and numerous other insect-borne diseases?

I actually had a similar thought along those lines. Using mosquitoes to spread cures like polio vaccines. There is of course the question of an individuals right to refuse vaccination but I'm on the fence as to weather that's a legitimate stance as the choice affects more than the individual. This should be a +Solve for X project.
