Potentially no more iPhones / iPads this Christmas season in Germany, at least for now… I'm getting mixed news saying either that a temporary injunction preventing Apple sales is already in place, and that the ruling only gives Motorola the right to obtain a temporary injunction blocking sales.

Given how Apple has tried to block Samsung on several occassions, it's interesting to see the power that they've tried to abuse landing in Motorola's hands. So far no major reaction in investor confidence, so it looks like the dirty smartphone wars are going to drag on for a while longer…

    Another evidence that the patent system is broken. I like that Apple is suffering from his own weapon, but I'd prefer that all of the mobile companies focus their energy on innovation… For the benefit of the customer instead of the lawyer.
