+Jannik Lindquist I'd tend to agree. The Safe Harbour Agreement is one of the most troubling part of this – as it would allow seizure of non-US data to the US government, and not too many casual users outside the US really know or care.
I am pretty certain that Google had no choice. It would have been the same for Hotmail or Yahoo. Read the original WSJ article:
