I wonder if there's a "classic" option, or if this is going to be as bad as every other Microsoft product introducing their new toolbar and not giving users any chance to get to something usable, efficient and "unoptimized" according to the new standard.

    From a users point of view i do prefer having unrestricted access to files and file systems. I doubt any OS truly hides files and file systems from the user (depending on access type and other selected options). In this case its the toolbar and the rest of the explorer that is cumbersome.

    Other companies are working on removing the bare idea of files an file systems from the end user's line of sight, but they build this!
