"The W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) is seeking to invalidate a pair of Apple patents so the underlying technologies can be used as part of a royalty-free HTML5 stack."

Do you know of some prior works to help invalidate Apple's patents and support HTML5? I'm not a fan of patent bashing, and not a fan of the current patent system at all, but I do think that having a common standard for creating a fast and usable web experience is important.
