Biological computer can create flourescent images

By | February 10, 2012
Cool, but not exactly too useful in its current form – this team of scientists have created a biological computer that can 'print' a flourescent image out of image information encoded in DNA. They're not sure what applications this might have (maybe something in medical imaging?)… Either way, an eye-catching creation. I'd still be more happy with clean-and-repair biological 'code' than flourescent eye candy.

One day we would jump around in grass for biological fluorescent living creatures, not so much alive as on battery. 🙂
